Real Results Marketing organises successful EU Referendum debate
Real Results organised a hugely successful EU Referendum debate for our client Hewitts Solicitors.
Using our event management expertise we sourced the expert panellists, negotiated a major media sponsor, advertised the event via social media and provided all PR support amongst other services.
The expert panellists arguing the case for Britain to remain in Europe were Chi Onwurah, Shadow Minister for Business, Innovation and Skills, Jessie Joe Jacobs, North-East field director for the Britain Stronger in Europe campaign, and Ian Stark, chief executive of Chemoxy International.
Appearing for the Brexit camp were Professor Kevin Dowd, a professor of finance and economics at Durham University Business School, Andrew Saunders, the North-East regional chairman of Business for Britain, and Professor David Campbell, former head of Durham University Law School.
The event was held at the Centre for Process Innovation in Darlington and was attended by a sell-out audience of specially selected business leaders, entrepreneurs and opinion formers.
It was chaired by Nigel Burton, Deputy Editor of The Northern Echo, which joined the event as media sponsor.
In the run up to the debate the Echo ran a number of pre-event articles which culminated in a double page spread in the business supplement and a 1,000 word op-ed feature.
Real Results also reached out to people through Twitter and Facebook before the event.
We also live tweeted from the debate and produced video. Chi Onwurah and The Northern Echo's deputy business editor also live tweeted during the discussion.
Real Results staff were on hand to ensure the debate ran smoothly
